The Chief Executive Officer is David L. Battles, a member of the firm for over thirty years. He holds a degree in accounting, membership in the Ohio Society of CPAs, and is a certified public accountant specializing in business, financial and tax consulting. “I enjoy partnering with my clients to help create solutions to problems and develop wealth accumulation strategies. Obviously, that includes the minimization of tax liabilities. I like to believe we provide the best service on a consistent basis!” David also is a financial service provider and holds an Ohio insurance license. He and his wife, Diana, have three adult children and reside in Munson Township, outside Chardon. A proponent of community service, Dave is a Past President of Chardon Rotary, steering committee member and classmate in Leadership Geauga, and an active member in the Painesville and Chardon Chambers of Commerce. He also serves as an advisor to the Accounting Board at Kent University-Geauga and enjoys time spent at Fellowship Bible church. In his spare time, Dave enjoys bicycling and racquetball as well as gardening and other outdoor activities. |

The Chief Financial Officer is Curtis Jones, who in addition to his accounting degree and CPA license, is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA). Curt has been a member of the firm for over twenty years. He services the tax and accounting needs of small to mid-sized businesses and individuals and oversees the firm’s quality control program. Curt and his wife, Sue, have two children and reside in Concord. Curt is active in the Mentor Rotary and Chamber. |

Pat Reno has been an accountant with the firm for over thirteen years. She also fills in as receptionist. Pat holds an Associates Accounting degree from Kent State University. She and her husband, Bill, have four adult children and one grandson. They reside in Thompson. Pat is an active member of the Painesville Church of the Brethren, a mentor at Ledgemont Elementary School, and a member of the Thompson Township Audit Review Committee. |

Nicole M. Williams has been a member of the firm since December 2003. She holds a degree in accounting and is a certified public accountant. Prior to starting with the firm, she spent over 5 years with an international accounting firm, specializing in individual, trust, gift, and expatriate/inpatriate taxation. She and her husband, Troy, have two children and reside in Munson Township. "My greatest joy is to help others succeed. We work to assist in developing an overall financial strategy that fits our client's life, not just their business. I believe that is what sets us apart from other firms." In her spare time, Nicole enjoys traveling, reading, scrap booking, and bicycling. |

Brenda Beaber has re-married and relocated to the Alliance area. She has been with the firm since January 1997. Brenda holds QuickBooks® ProAdvisor Certifications in all versions of the software from 1999 forward. She manages the firm’s network, software, internal and external technology training. As well as system and office administration, she also does payroll processing and accounting. Brenda has two adult children and two step-children to add to her resume. Brenda holds an Associates in Business Sciences from Kent State University. “The most rewarding part of my job is the questions and challenges posed by our clients. I get extreme satisfaction teaching them how to streamline their business through technology and the use of QuickBooks® software, as well as sometimes learning new ideas myself along the way!” In her free time, Brenda enjoys baking, gardening, hunting and spending time with her husband and family. |

Katy Karasek has been an accountant with the firm since October 2007. She assists with individual and corporate taxation, payroll, accounting, and administrative duties. Katy is attending college consecutively to obtain her Bachelor's of Accounting. "Something that is imperative to me, and is so important to our clients, is that we are thorough and consistent in everything that we do. I truly appreciate that about the members of our firm." She lives in Concord Twp. with her husband Jason and their two young children. They are also active members of Christ Covenant Church in Middlefield. In her spare time, Katy enjoys reading, camping and riding four-wheelers, scrap-booking, and spending time with family and friends . |
